First Chronicles 16:34 says, "O give thanks to the Lord for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever." All around our country today, families and friends will come together for meals and fellowship. They will laugh, in some cases cry, and in nearly all cases recall the many blessings in their lives. But in far too many homes, God will never be given credit for anything. My encouragement to all of us is not to forget who is the ultimate "generator" of blessing in our lives. Sure, we have a lot of things for which to be thankful today, but every one of these things is the result of the goodness and love of God. So, when you say "Thank you" today, add one additional word: "Thank you, Lord!"
God bless everyone, and I hope you have a wonderful, fulfilling, joyous, and restful Thanksgiving Day!
